Climate Fringe Stories

Family Festive: Talking turkey on Climate

December 22, 2020
For our Climate Fringe Christmas Special, regular hosts Kat and Manish invite their respective siblings (who also happen to work on climate and conservation) around the virtual Christmas dinner table. With so many families unable to meet up in person this year, join the Joshis and the Joneses as they try and have a virtual Christmas: talking Climate, COP and cheesy cracker jokes.
Kat's sister, Professor Julia Jones is a conservation scientist working on, among other things, the effectiveness of forest conservation initiatives including climate-related incentives. She is particularly interested in the social and local community dimensions of conservation. Manish's brother, Rajiv Joshi, is a founder of Bridging Ventures, an initiative to connect across business, creatives, investors and activists on sustainable solutions. He was previously the Managing Director of The B Team, a not-for-profit initiative formed by a global group of business leaders to catalyse a better way of doing business, for the wellbeing of people and the planet.
